Excellent opportunity and environment to progress your career as a Network Engineer. Core Duties & Responsibilities: ? Provide level 1 support to customers via telephone, email and remotely. ? Diagnose and resolve customer problems via telephone, email and remotely. ? Record and pass on ticket requests which may be received in person, by telephone or through email. ? Escalate tickets to level 2/3 NOC engineers where required. ? Provide expertise and support to internal engineers and installers. ? Contribute to the overall work and activities of the company. ? Provide reports on support issues to key customers and ensure preparation materials are readily available. ? Assist in the scoping and validation of customer solutions. ? Create clear and concise design documentation for customer and internal solutions. ? Deploy configuration for customer bespoke solutions. ? Ensure smooth transition of services during the rollout and on-boarding of solutions. Essential Criteria: ? Third Level Qualification in Computer Networking/Information Technology or equivalent. ? Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Desired Criteria: ? Cisco Certification CCNA , MTCNA or equivalent would be an advantage. The below experience may have been gained in a lab environment and would be an advantage. ? Router configuration experience. ? ComputerNetwork experience. ? Experience of working with Firewalls. ? Good Documentation Practices. ? Experience in a linux/unix environment. ? Working knowledge of routing protocols. ? MPLS/VPLS knowledge. ? VoIP experience. ? Working knowledge of VPN. ? Excellent organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation skills. ? Strong attention to detail and high work standards. ? Ability to work quickly and accurately across multiple teams and projects. ? Excellent interpersonal, communications, networking, and influencing skills.
