HEAD CHEF AWARD WINNING 4* LIMERICK CITY HOTEL. This is a hands on role where the client is seeking a candidate that has strong Kitchen Management as we as been a real 'foodie' as the restaurant has a reputation for quality food. Are you creative? Do you like working with fresh produce? Do you have funky style presentation? Are you seeking a new challenge? Are you a hands on Chef/Manager? The main concentration of this role is their well know restaurant that serves food from 12-9.30 each day. The GM is driven and expects high standards of cooking and presentation. Prerequisites for this position include: Previous Head or Sous Chef experience in a 4*/5* Hotel or High Class Bistro/Brasserie. Previous Hotel or Restaurant experience is essential. Bistro/Brasserie/Bar Food type menu style operations. Strong on Costings, Portion Control & Purchasing. Fully au fait with HACCP & Food Safety Regulations. A chef that can bring new ideas, new dishes, new menus, specials to the property. A chef dedicated to producing wholesome food with great taste and funky presentation. A problem solver and can think 'outside the box' Strives for perfection while executing excellent cuisine. Has experience in all menus from breakfast, lunch, dinner, banqueting. Salary range of €45K.
