Our client is a global outsourcing company looking for a Procurement Specialist for there Office in Dublin or Limerick. The primary function of this role is to take the lead on projects and opportunities that require sourcing and procurement as part of the overall client solution. You will be fully responsible for delivering solutions against the agreed scope, schedule, and budget. Essential Responsibilities: Manage the planning, sourcing and procurement function on implementation of newbusiness projects within the organisation; Plan and deliver against all sourcing, procurement and planning related project tasks. On completion of an implementation project, ensure smooth and efficient hand off to thesustaining team; The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position. Provide clear, concise status reports, toclient stakeholders and internal project managers. A customer facing role. Develop future capability and content in the area of forecast management, planning,materials management and general procurement processes to support differentiatedsolutions for existing and potential customers; Interacting at a detailed level with our global operations in defining solutions/processes,and coordination of detail relative to process enhancement / implementation. On occasion, require travel to client and/or other company sites. Experience Required: A recognised university degree, IIPMM or equivalent, specialising in procurement, with 5to 7 years’ experience in a busy sourcing and procurement environment. (APICScertification would also be an advantage.
