Position Summary : Due to the acquisition of Care fusion and Bard - BD are now selecting a number of R&D projects to bring to commercialisation. This is one of the first of these projects. This role is to initially bring this selected R&D project through the whole process to commercialisation. As BD, Bard & Carefusion become more integrated – It is thought that this role will develop into a Global Program Leader who will establish a COE in Limerick and build up a team whose job it will be to deliver multiple programs for BD. Initially this role will be as follows: As the business leader of a multi-functional (and cross-regional) team within a matrix organization, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely development and successful commercialization of one or more complex BD Biosciences product programs. You will lead a cross functional team through the process from conceptualization to commercialization and will blend knowledge of the global market environment with the varying needs BD customers across all geographies. You will represent the program and the program team to executive leadership as well as the global organization. You will have a deep understanding of the global markets and be able to demonstrate a experience in execution of a successful business strategy Experience & Qualifications: You will have worked in the medical device, diagnostic or life science market and will have a full understanding of FDA, ISO, GMP and FDA compliant environment. You will have previously worked with a Mech/Elec device. Minimum five years of experience in a project or program management role. Track record of success in launching programs and bringing products to commercialization. Bachelor’s Degree is required and MBA is preferred.
